The CLIPSAL 500 ADELAIDE RALLY, now in its 11th year, will again travel from Victoria to South Australia in the four days leading up to the Premier ‘Marquee’ event of the V8 Supercar Championships – the CLIPSAL 500 ADELAIDE. Now regarded as the ultimate Touring Road Rally Event in the country, its popularity has the 2010 Event close to fully subscribed with over three months to go! The Event has regularly attracted a very strong competitor base from both South Australia and Victoria but in recent years the Rally has also seen an increase in competitors from New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.
The 2010 CLIPSAL 500 ADELAIDE RALLY will start in Horsham Victoria on Sunday 7 March and have overnight stops in Naracoorte and Tanunda. During the event competitors will compete in over 20 subevents including Circuit Sprints, Auto-Tests, Motorkhanas, Navigation and Observation sections, Hillclimbs and Team events. The final competitive events are at Collingrove Hillclimb on the Tuesday and Mallala Motor Sport Park on Wednesday 9 March before making its way to the Parklands Circuit for the CLIPSAL 500 ADELAIDE. The Event then has a Presentation Dinner at the Royal Coach Motor Inn, right next to the CLIPSAL 500 circuit on the Thursday night and a vehicle display area at the circuit from the Thursday to Sunday.
The Event is open to all Classic, Sporting and Performance vehicles.
